Why not say "we do not own this game in any way, everything goes to NEXON with the exception of our customs, no copyright intended"? Or would that not do a thing at this point?(Or at all)

I don't think that would do anything at all. Although if I am not mistaken, offshore hosting may keep the server safe.

good idea, but offshore hosts are hard to find and unstable
if we weere to give nexon full credit on this server then a percentage of our donations might be shared
or chris will have no jurisdiction over the server, basically a takeover

Nexon isn't seeking UniverseMS' ("our", "the Server") acceptance of their end-user license agreement; they are taking action because they have already claimed full credit of any content found within our server. I've been on these private servers for a long time and it's always the top-ranking private servers, which eat up donations like hyenas, that get hunted & shot down by GMPolice for the INFRINGEMENT reason.

(I'm mocking the ban message on that last line.) Anyway this is kind of a fun obstacle, but I really hope we get through this so we can keep playing. <3 :)

i doubt it would be Nexon. Nexon stopped getting servers for about half a year they even said it on their forum because theres 2 much servers out there.its probably a hacker or the vps crashed .

Well, since there are many GM's on here, if the server comes back up, I need a GM to help me get my Sad Mask(from the VPNPC), I made a trade with Waves and paid him all my stuff and DjSlay was gonna help me but then the server crashed. :P, just wanted to let you guys know/remind him.

the admin says that its gonna b on in less than 12 hrs, but that was like 2 hrs ago so basicly itd b 10 hrs
